One Week Old

The boys turn 1 week old tonight around 8PM Central!
They took Andrew off the photo-therapy and will be watching jaundice levels.  If all goes well he'll be coming home in a day or so.  Lucas is still jaundiced and still on the photo-therapy.  He started the photo-therapy a day later than Andrew so hopefully he'll be off of it tomorrow.  Again, if all goes well he'll be coming home soon, perhaps a day after Andrew. 

They've both been feeding well.  They actually have the reputation of being quite loud before meal times.  More than once, we've gone up to the NICU and the nurses have been about to call us because, despite being a half hour before feeding time, they are crying to be fed.  We're dying to bring them home, especially since they seem to be doing so well.  It would be nice if they could both get discharged on the same day but we'll take whatever we can get.

Thanks for all the well wishes that have been pouring in.   We feel very loved and we've been telling the boys that everybody wants to meet them.
