Week 30 Update

We had our 30 week in-depth ultrasound this past Thursday.  They did a short anatomical scan to look at the fluid volumes and estimate the weight of the kids.  Andrew and Lucas are doing well.  Andrew weighs 3 lbs. 6 oz. and Lucas weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz.  We were a bit concerned that the weights had diverged by half a pound (since the last two times they were only 2 oz. different).  The nurse showed us that each of them was still tracking within normal growth limits and assured us that "normal is nothing to worry about."  They are still in normal range, and if you compared two different kids at 30 weeks they'd weigh different amounts.  Andrew is unfortunately still breech, so unless he flips, we're on our way to a C-section.  Lara tells me they are quite active, especially at 3 AM, so there's still a chance.  Not having a C-section means a shorter recovery time for Lara.
