Here are all the pics and emails we've sent up to now.

8 Weeks (October 15, 2010)
Hi all,

Twins!!!!!  The doctor said it was a good sign that they each have their own placenta (I guess it gets complicated if they start sharing stuff).  She set the due date for May 25, but she said I would probably deliver about 3 weeks early since twins tend to come out sooner.  We saw a good heart beat for each of them, so I think they are both healthy!  Our next visit will be in 4 weeks (November 12)...now we need to think of two names!!!!

Love you,
Lara

12 Weeks (November 12, 2010)
Hi all,
The week 12 visit went well, and both babies are right on track!  Baby B was in a great position to get a profile shot, but Baby A was facing us, so it was harder to get a good picture.  For a split second we saw the baby’s face – eyes, mouth, and a large (Bosch) nose.  We were surprised by how much they were moving around!  The doctor said both heartbeats look really good, and that we may be able to determine gender at our next visit in December (but only if they are in the perfect position to tell).  We have decided we won't pick out names until we know genders (it has just been too difficult to pick!).  We are still on track for an early to mid-May delivery.

Love you,
Lara & Andre

16 Weeks (December 14, 2010)
The babies were moving around too much to get any good shots.  We were, however, able to learn (with pretty high certainty) the genders - TWO BOYS.  Oh dear.  They seem to be doing really well, and the doctor was happy with their progress and health.  We have the big 20+ week checkup in January, so we should get really good pictures to send out then.  Hope you all are doing well...

Love,
Lara & Andre

21 Weeks (January 18, 2011)
Hi all,

We had a 21 week ultrasound today, and the babies are doing well.  The doctor laughed out loud when she took the picture of Baby B because he started smiling as soon as he came up on the monitor.  Baby A was again hard to photograph because he kept squirming around--he is the one I can feel kicking constantly.  We have an appointment at the hospital on Thursday for an ultrasound on the really powerful machine, so we should have better pictures (and hopefully video) to send out then!

Love,
Andre and Lara
